Ultimate Home Solutions designs, supplies and fits new bathrooms across Ardrossan, in the flats and terraces round the harbour and the Barony, the post-war housing up at Whitlees and Castlehill, and the bungalows on the roads out towards Kilwinning. A designer calls at the house, measures the room properly and plans the layout beside you, and the quote that follows is free and carries no obligation. Vetted fitters finish in 3 to 6 days and all workmanship is guaranteed.
A harbour-front flat in Ardrossan and a post-war semi up at Whitlees ask for quite different things from a bathroom, and the salt air is a factor in both.
Frameless glass, a level tray and large format boards, which claw back floor space in the compact bathrooms round the harbour.

View accessible optionsAt all points of the process we had first class service from Ultimate Home Solutions. We have a lovely new bathroom, top to bottom and we believe we got very good value for money. We would be happy to go back to them if and when we consider further home improvements.
So happy with my new bathroom everything was great from first contact with Kirsty til completion. Brain and his team were friendly, professional and efficient and did a fantastic job cannot praise them highly enough would definitely recommend this business.
Great experience from start to finish. We have just had our bathroom completely refurbished. The overall finish is excellent and Hayden the fitter always paid particular attention to detail. The job took five days as promised and all the rubbish was collected within two days of completion. The work was inspected the following week but I had nothing to report. I would highly recommend this company.
The service was amazing start to finish. The quote & design stage was thorough and everything costed up and designed to fit our requirements. Elyson and the fitting team were super, really thorough and cleaned up as they went. We had everything explained to us at every stage. The work was done within days but perfect build and brilliant result. It looks and feels like a posh hotel bathroom now.
We love our new bathroom and the friendly and professional service from the team at Ultimate Home Solutions. Kirsty was very helpful, talking us through the design, the materials and explaining the process. Bryan was fantastic, he did a great job fitting everything and came back out to attach the cabinet handles which hadn't been delivered on time. The rubbish was all collected promptly and communication throughout...

Answers for KA22: cover, cost, coastal damp, tenement plumbing, parking near the harbour, water pressure, timings and finance.
The phone is answered by a bathroom designer at Glencairn rather than an operator reading a script. Someone is there between 10am and 5pm, seven days a week.
Call 0800 029 3875All of KA22. That covers the town centre, the harbour and Barony area, Whitlees, Castlehill, Chapelhill, Ardrossan North and the streets running up towards Kilwinning Road, and we carry on into Saltcoats and Stevenston next door. No charge for the call-out at any of them.
It depends on the size of the room, how much is being moved, the suite and the wall and floor finishes. A compact shower room in a harbour flat sits well below a full family bathroom in a Whitlees semi with the layout changed. The design visit is free, the quote costs nothing and commits you to nothing, and various deposit options are available.
It does, mostly in the choices. Salt air is hard on cheap chrome and on poorly sealed extract fans, so the designer will steer you towards finishes that hold up and make sure the ventilation is specified properly rather than left as an afterthought.
Often yes, though it depends where the waste stack runs. Moving a toilet any distance means a new run to the stack and there is a limit to what the fall allows. The designer measures the stack position first and tells you what is realistic before anything is promised.
The fitters will ask at the design visit. Round the harbour and the older streets parking is tight, so they plan where the van sits and where the materials come in rather than turning up and hoping. It saves a lot of grief on day one.
Usually, and it is worth sorting during the fit rather than after it. The designer checks what system you have and whether a pumped shower or a different valve is the answer. On the older tank-fed systems around the town that makes a real difference to how the shower feels.
Bathrooms take 3 to 6 days. You are walked through what happens on each day before the first panel comes off, and the fitters work to it.
Pipe joints, wiring, seals, wall finishes and the way the suite is hung are all inside it, because all workmanship is guaranteed.
Bought a suite already? Our fitters will put that in and the labour figure does not move.
Kilmarnock, at Glencairn Industrial Estate, KA1 4AZ, a straight run inland. Callers are welcome from 10am until 5pm every day.
Designers and vetted fitters are along this coast most weeks, from the harbour up to Whitlees and on through Saltcoats and Stevenston. The appointment is free and there is no call-out fee anywhere in KA22.
Street not in that list? Any KA22 address gets a designer out, and the Three Towns and the coast road are covered alongside it. Give us the KA22 postcode and a free design visit in Ardrossan goes in the diary.
