The cost follows the job rather than the town. First the size of the room, then whether the layout stays as it is or the suite moves and the pipework has to be rerouted. Linlithgow's High Street and the streets by the loch sit in a conservation area, and a good many of the buildings there are listed, but replacing a bathroom within the walls of the property does not normally need consent. Where a new extractor or a waste pipe would appear on a frontage, have a word with West Lothian Council before the job starts and we will plan a route that keeps it hidden.
