That depends on the plumbing, so it is measured first. Houses still running hot water off a cylinder fed from a tank in the loft give a gentle flow that a pump or a low-pressure valve will improve. Mains-fed combi houses will take a wider head straight off. The reading is taken at the design visit and the shower is matched to it.
In nearly every ML8 house, yes. Out comes the bath, in goes a low tray or a floor-level shower, and rails and a fold-down seat can be placed exactly where you want them now or fitted later. Wall boards rather than small tiles mean there is barely any grout left to scrub.
