Every door is put through PAS 24, the British standard for resisting forced entry. The lock throws hooks and bolts into the frame at several points, the cylinder is 3-star Kitemarked and anti-snap, and any glass panel is laminated so it holds together if it is struck.

No. The colour is moulded through the skin rather than brushed onto it, so there is nothing to flake, nothing to rub down and no annual weekend lost to a paint tin. Soapy water on the face of the door keeps it looking right.

Anthracite grey, black, cream, chartwell green and duck egg blue are the common picks, woodgrain finishes look like timber without the maintenance, and the inside face can be a different colour from the street side. You can. The Glasgow showroom is inside Dobbies Garden Centre at Braehead, 75 Kings Inch Drive, Renfrew, G51 4FB, open 10am to 5pm every day, and our Kilmarnock showroom is the alternative. Otherwise the surveyor brings the samples to you and you never need to leave the house.
