Palladio Doors
in Ayr,
on show up the road in Kilmarnock.

Our Kilmarnock showroom: Block 5, Unit 1, Glencairn Industrial Estate, KA1 4AZ, up the A77 from Ayr. It opens from 10am to 5pm, seven days a week, and you do not need an appointment. You can work the handle, look at the depth of the panels and hold colour samples against the glass. There is a second showroom inside Dobbies at Braehead if you happen to be in Glasgow.

There is no single figure, because nothing is made until your doorway has been measured. Your design, your colour, your glass and any side panels decide it, which matters on the wider openings of the older Seafield villas. Book the free survey and you will have a clear, no-obligation quote to look at. Monthly plans start from £22 a week, subject to status, with various deposit options available.

Yes. We fit Palladio doors in Prestwick and Monkton (KA9), Troon (KA10) and out to Coylton, Mossblown, Tarbolton and Maybole, as well as every part of Ayr itself. The survey is free at all of those addresses and there is no call-out fee.

Well, because of how it is built. There are two weather seals, one inside and one out, so wind-driven rain has two barriers to get past. The 65mm shell is a single piece with no joints, and the colour is a Renolit foil over a through-coloured sheet, not a coat of paint, so there is nothing for salt air to lift or flake. It never needs painting or staining.

A standard composite door has a thin skin stuck onto a core. A Palladio is a one-piece (monocoque) door, 65mm thick, with panels and grain moulded from a real timber door, a frame finished to match the door colour and triple glazing included. We supply standard composite doors too, so your quote can show both and you can decide which is worth it to you.

A Milenco 10-point locking system and a 3-star cylinder, on a door that hangs from four adjustable hinges. The door is tested to PAS 24, which is the security standard insurers and building control look for.

There are 25 designs in the Original Collection, from Georgian and Cambridge panels to the Kildare and the Kensington, plus the Avant Garde collection for a modern look. Colours include anthracite grey, duck egg blue, cream, black and heritage shades that only Palladio offers. Glass, handles, knockers and letterboxes are picked separately.

It can. Some streets in Ayr and in Alloway sit inside conservation areas, and changing a front door there, or on a listed building, may need consent from South Ayrshire Council. It is worth a phone call to the planners before you order. If consent is granted, the traditional panelled designs are the ones most likely to suit.

A Palladio is made to your sizes in Ireland, and the usual lead time is 4 to 6 weeks from order to delivery. The fitting itself is one working day. The old door and frame come out, the new ones go in and are sealed, and you have your keys and a locked house before the installers leave.
