Every Palladio is made to the measurements of your own opening, so we quote your door rather than an average one. Design, colour, glass pattern and whether the opening carries side panels or a top light are the things that move it. The survey costs nothing, the quote that follows is clear and carries no obligation, and finance is there from £22 a week subject to status. Various deposit options are available.

That is the case for a Palladio rather than an argument against it. There are two weather seals, one inboard and one outboard, where a standard 44mm composite door has a single seal. The shell is one reinforced piece filled with a dense core, so wind-driven rain has no joint to find, and the glazing is triple glazed with a warm-edge spacer and an argon fill.

A builder's composite door is a core with a thin skin bonded onto each face, and that skin is what eventually lifts at a corner. A Palladio is a monocoque: one 65mm fibreglass-reinforced shell around an insulating core, with no skin to peel and no joint to open. The frame is foiled in the door colour instead of being left white, and triple glazing is included. We fit standard composite doors as well, so both figures can appear on your quote.

Palladio is tested to PAS 24, the standard building control and insurers look for. Each door carries a Milenco 10-point locking system, a 3-star cylinder and four adjustable hinges set into the thick walls of the shell. The hinges sit inside the edge of the door, so they cannot be reached from the outside.

The Original Collection has 25 designs. Panelled styles such as the Georgian, Cambridge and Kensington look right on the interwar semis around Kirklandneuk and Porterfield, and side panels and top lights are made with glass to match. For the flats and townhouses down at Ferry Village, the 8 designs in the Avant Garde collection give flat faces, slim glazing strips and stronger colours on the same construction.

Every Palladio is built to your measurements in Ireland, so allow 4 to 6 weeks from order to delivery. Fitting is one working day. The old door and frame come out, the new set goes in and is sealed, every locking point is tested, and the house is secure before the installers leave.

Usually not, but check first if your home is listed or stands inside a conservation area, because Renfrewshire Council can have a say on what goes on the frontage. We will raise it at the survey if we think it applies to your street rather than let you find out afterwards.
