It should not. A multi-point lock pulls the panel tight against the seals at five points up the edge, rather than holding it on one latch by the handle, so the door sits hard against the frame instead of flexing in a gust.

Hardware near the coast takes more punishment than it does inland, so tell the surveyor how exposed the door is and we will go through the handle and letterplate finishes with that in mind. The panel and the frame themselves have nothing in them for salt to attack.

The fitting itself is a day's work: old door and frame out, new frame in and packed plumb, panel hung, glass and hardware fitted, then sealed and tested. The planning around that, ordering and getting everything to you, is what we would talk through with you first.
