Most A-rated combi swaps land between £2,200 and £3,800, fully fitted including system flush, gas certificate and manufacturer registration. Full system replacements (boiler + cylinder + re-pipe) reach £4,500 to £7,500. Larger smart-zoned installs and heat pump conversions £8,000+. Every quote is clear, free, and yours to keep with no obligation.
How long does a boiler swap take?
Most like-for-like combi swaps fit in a single working day. Full system replacements with re-pipe take 2 to 4 days. Hot water and heating are restored before we leave; you're never left cold overnight.
Worcester, Vaillant or Ideal, which is best?
All three are excellent A-rated brands and we install all three. Worcester Bosch typically offers the longest manufacturer warranty. Vaillant ecoTEC has the best reliability data. Ideal Logic is the best value with strong warranties. Our engineer recommends per your home, not per commission.
Can I finance the boiler? How does the credit check work?
Yes. We offer Buy Now Pay 12 Months Later, flexible credit up to 24 months, and longer-term flexible credit up to 10 years. The monthly payment is often less than the monthly bill saving. The initial eligibility check is a soft search with no impact on your credit score. Ultimate Home Solutions is FCA-authorised as a credit broker (not a lender).
Should I move to a heat pump instead?
Depends on your home. Heat pumps work brilliantly in well-insulated homes with rads sized for low-flow temps; less well in draughty period properties with small rads. Our survey gives you a written recommendation: stay on gas, move to heat pump, or do a phased upgrade. Honest answers, even when they don't suit our typical sale.
Do you cover my area in Scotland?
Yes. Our crews are based in Glasgow and Kilmarnock, and we install across the whole country, from Galloway to John o' Groats. Free home surveys anywhere in Scotland; no call-out fee, no postcode exclusions.
Can you fit smart thermostats and zoning at the same time?
Yes. Hive, Nest, tado° and Honeywell evohome zoned systems all installed and commissioned as standard add-ons. Specified and priced in the quote, never as a surprise.
What's covered by the manufacturer warranty?
Worcester, Vaillant and Ideal warranties cover the boiler and its parts, and the length depends on the model and registration. We register the manufacturer warranty for you, and all workmanship is guaranteed.
