The displays there are kitchens and bathrooms, but you can call in, ask about a new boiler and book your survey in person. The survey itself happens at your house, because the engineer needs to see the boiler, the radiators and the flue.
As a guide, a straight A-rated combi swap is usually between £2,200 and £3,800 fitted, including the system flush, the gas certificate and registration with the manufacturer. A complete new system with a boiler, a cylinder and fresh pipework is more, from £4,500 to £7,500. Your own figure depends on the boiler you choose and the state of the system, and the quote is clear, free and without obligation. Various deposit options are available.
A combi replaced with a combi in the same position is normally a one-day job. Converting an older system with a cylinder and loft tanks to a combi takes 2 to 3 days, and a full system replacement 2 to 4 days. Heating and hot water are restored before we leave, so you are not left cold overnight. Allow roughly 3 to 5 weeks from approving the quote to handover.

If your home near Fenwick, Moscow, Symington or up the Irvine Valley is off the gas main, an air source heat pump is one option, and the engineer carries out a heat loss survey to see whether your insulation and radiators suit it.
