For a lot of people, yes. A designer will come to any G81 address with door fronts, worktop pieces and handles, measure the room and build the plan in front of you. The visit is free, and you are welcome to look round Braehead afterwards to confirm a colour before you order.
Typical figures run from £6,000 for a small galley refit, £8,000 to £15,000 for a mid-range family kitchen, and from £20,000 for a large open-plan kitchen with an island. All of those include taking out the old kitchen, plumbing, electrics and worktops. The quote we give you is clear, free and carries no obligation.

The four-in-a-blocks around Linnvale, Whitecrook and Parkhall usually have a boxed-in pipe run or a back door eating into the layout, so the first job is to work out what can move. After that it is tall units instead of wall cupboards, deep drawers instead of base cupboards, and slimline appliances, and the 3D plan shows the difference before you spend anything.
Every week around here. The units and worktops are carried up by hand, the stair and the landing are covered first, and everything is cleared away nightly so the close is not blocked. If there is a factor to inform, tell the designer at the survey and we will work it into the plan.
Installation runs 10 to 14 working days for most kitchens. Design and planning takes about a fortnight beforehand, manufacture four to six weeks after you sign off the drawings, so eight to ten weeks from first visit to handover is the usual timescale.
No. A temporary area with a kettle, a microwave and a fridge is set up in another room before the old kitchen comes out, so you can still manage a meal. Dust sheets go down before anything is lifted, and the floor is vacuumed before the fitters leave.
The kitchens are Nobilia, German-engineered by the biggest manufacturer in Europe, with soft-close fittings throughout. Gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers and the wiring by qualified electricians, and certificates are issued for both.
