Ultimate Home Solutions designs, supplies and fits new kitchens across Greenock, from the sandstone tenements and villas of the West End and Fort Matilda to the post-war housing at Larkfield, Branchton and Pennyfern and the streets running down to Cartsdyke. A designer measures up, draws the room in 3D and leaves you a clear quote with no obligation. Trusted installers handle the fitting, and all workmanship is guaranteed.
A West End tenement and a Larkfield semi ask for different things, but the plan starts in the same three places.
[ Style · Shaker · sage green / oak ]Painted shaker in heritage shades, which holds its own beneath the high ceilings and deep cornices of West End and Fort Matilda flats.

[ Style · Handleless · graphite ]Handleless doors and under-unit lighting, which make the long back kitchens of Cartsdyke and East End tenements feel a good deal wider.

[ Style · Modern · island ]Islands and open-plan layouts for the larger semis and detached houses at Whinhill, Bow Farm and up towards Kilmacolm.

That is no bother, and it costs nothing. Free design visits run across Greenock, Gourock and Port Glasgow, and the designer brings the door fronts, worktop pieces and handles with them. Many customers do both, seeing the displays at Braehead first and then having the room measured at home.
As a guide, a small galley refit starts from £6,000, a mid-range family kitchen is £8,000 to £15,000, and a large open-plan kitchen with an island starts from £20,000. Those figures include the strip-out, plumbing, electrics and worktops. Room size, worktop material and appliance choice set the final number, and your quote is free.
It is a big part of what we do here. Tell us the floor when you book and the fitters plan the carry up. The stair and landing get covered, units and worktops go up by hand, and everything is cleared off the landing before the close is left for the night. Deliveries are kept to a single drop wherever the street allows.
None that we have not met before. Braes, Lyle Hill and the streets climbing away from the waterfront are all worked on regularly, so the designer notes the gradient, the kerb and the nearest place a van can sit during the survey. The fitters plan the unloading around it rather than turning up and hoping.
Most kitchens take 10 to 14 working days to fit. Allow a fortnight beforehand for design and planning and four to six weeks of manufacture after you approve the drawings, so eight to ten weeks from the first appointment to handover is the usual run.
Nobilia, the largest kitchen manufacturer in Europe, German-engineered throughout. Shaker, handleless and modern slab fronts are all available, and soft-close hinges and drawer runners are standard.
Either suits us. We supply Neff, Bosch, Siemens and AEG at trade prices, usually 15 to 25% below retail. Appliances you buy elsewhere are fitted at the same labour cost, and anything you already own is measured at the survey so the units are planned round it.
