No call-out fee, no travel charge, and the quote afterwards leaves you free to walk away.
A small galley refit begins at £6,000, a mid-range family kitchen sits between £8,000 and £15,000, and a large open-plan kitchen with an island starts from £20,000. Taking out the old kitchen, the plumbing, the electrics and the worktops are inside each. The size of the room and your choice of worktop and appliances decide the rest, and the quote costs nothing.
Around two weeks of design and planning, four to six weeks of manufacture once the drawing is approved, then 10 to 14 working days of installation. For most Inverurie households that comes to eight to ten weeks in total.
It is normal work here. Thick granite and rubble walls rarely run true, which is why the survey takes the room at several heights rather than once at waist level. Units are then made to the measurements we find and scribed in on site, with filler pieces cut to suit rather than gaps left to be filled with sealant.
Usually, and where it will not we plan around it. The designer notes the approach, the gate width, any low branches and where a large vehicle can turn, and if the road will not take the delivery lorry the kitchen is transferred to a smaller van for the last stretch. It is far better to know that at survey stage than on the morning.
Two things usually work. Either the units run up higher with a bulkhead across the top, which gives real storage and a clean line, or the wall units stop at a normal height and the space above is left open with a shelf or a hanging rail, which keeps the room feeling tall. The designer draws both so you can compare.
We arrange every trade. Gas Safe registered engineers do the gas and qualified electricians the wiring, with certificates for both. Plumbing, tiling and decoration are part of the same job, and the project closes with a walkthrough.
Yes. Appliances you already own are measured at the survey and the cabinets are planned around them at no extra charge. If you would rather change, we supply Neff, Bosch, Siemens and AEG at trade prices, usually 15 to 25% below retail.
