A kitchen carcass is a box. If it is square, dry and solid, it has decades left. What dates a kitchen is the doors, the worktop and the handles, and all three can be changed without ripping anything out.

We survey the carcasses first and tell you straight. If a refurbishment will not last, we will say so rather than sell you one.
Yes, provided the carcasses are sound. We measure every door and drawer front, order to your exact sizes, and fit new hinges at the same time. It is the single biggest change you can make for the money.
In most cases yes. Standard cabinet widths have been consistent for years. We measure at the assessment and confirm before ordering. Occasionally an older kitchen uses a non-standard size, and we will tell you if that is the case.
Almost never. Water getting into an unsealed cut-out is the most common kitchen failure we see, and it is a worktop replacement rather than a kitchen replacement. We seal the new cut-out on all faces so it does not happen again.
A professional spray gives a factory-quality finish and is the cheapest way to change the colour completely. New doors make sense if you also want to change the style, the profile or the size.
Most door and worktop jobs are two to four days on site. A full refit is typically two to three weeks, which is why refurbishing is worth considering if the boxes are sound.
