If the job involves changing a window, an external door or anything on a listed building, speak to West Lothian Council first, and the designer will flag anything in the plan that looks likely to need consent.
Not one we have not dealt with many times. Out-of-square walls, uneven floors and deep window reveals are the norm in the older village houses, so the room is measured exactly as it stands and the fitters scribe the units to the walls.
Usually 10 to 14 working days, depending on the room and whether walls or services are being altered. The fitters order the work so that the sink and a run of worktop are usable again as soon as is practical.
Yes, and the fitters take the waste with them. If you would like to keep any of it, mention that at the design visit and it will be lifted out carefully rather than broken up.
