Ultimate Home Solutions designs, supplies and fits new kitchens across Stranraer, from the terraced houses climbing away from the harbour and the post-war semis at Sheuchan and Ochtrelure to the cottages and farmhouses scattered through the Rhins. A designer comes out to you, measures every wall, and builds the room in 3D while you sit and watch. After that comes a clear quote with nothing owed, fitting by vetted installers, and the knowledge that all workmanship is guaranteed.
Pick the one that feels like your house and the designer will work outwards from it.

Travel, costs, timescales, old cottage walls, small rooms, appliances and finance, as asked around Stranraer, the Rhins and the Machars.
The phone is answered by a kitchen designer, not a receptionist reading from a card. Seven days a week, and most messages get a call back inside the hour.
Call 0800 029 3875We come down regularly, and the visit costs you nothing. Design appointments and fitting run right across Stranraer, Portpatrick, Leswalt, Kirkcolm and Glenluce, with no travel charge and no call-out fee. The measuring, the 3D plan and the quote are all part of that visit, and none of it obliges you to go ahead.
Guide prices open at £6,000 for a small galley refit. Most family kitchens land between £8,000 and £15,000, and a large open-plan room with an island begins at £20,000. Each of those covers taking out the old kitchen, plumbing, electrics and worktops. A compact kitchen in a harbour terrace usually sits at the lower end, while a farmhouse kitchen with quartz worktops sits higher. The quote itself is free and clear.
Design and planning is about a fortnight. Manufacture runs four to six weeks once you approve the drawings, and the fitting itself takes 10 to 14 working days. Eight to ten weeks between the first visit and the handover is the usual shape of it in Stranraer.
It can, and it is normal out here. Solid walls, uneven floors and low ceilings in older Rhins cottages are all picked up at the survey. End panels are scribed to the wall rather than packed out, worktops are templated on site once the units are standing, and the fitters carry the tools to cut into stone where a socket or a waste pipe has to move.
No limit inside DG9. Kirkcolm, Leswalt, Portpatrick, Sandhead, Stoneykirk, Ardwell, Drummore, Cairnryan, Castle Kennedy, Dunragit and Glenluce are all visited at no extra cost, and delivery to any of them is handled exactly as it would be for a town address.
Nobilia, the biggest kitchen manufacturer in Europe, and every carcass is German-engineered. Painted shaker, true handleless and modern slab fronts are all available, with soft-close drawers and hinges as standard.
Yes, and there is no extra labour charge for doing so. The designer measures what you have so the units are planned around it. If you would rather buy new, we supply Neff, Bosch, Siemens and AEG at trade prices, usually 15 to 25% below retail.
No. The old kitchen is stripped out and taken away on the first day and that is priced in. Gas Safe registered engineers handle any gas work and qualified electricians do the wiring, with certificates issued for both. Tiling, flooring and making good are organised by us as part of the same job.
Yes. We offer Buy Now Pay 12 Months Later, flexible credit up to 24 months, and longer-term flexible credit up to 10 years. The initial eligibility check is a soft search with no impact on your credit score, and gives an instant decision. Ultimate Home Solutions is authorised by the FCA as a credit broker (not a lender).
All workmanship is guaranteed. We walk the finished room with you, hand over the care notes, and ring back about a month later. If something we fitted is not right, we come back and put it right.
Designers and vetted installers work the whole of DG9, from the streets above Agnew Park out to Kirkcolm, Portpatrick and Drummore, and nothing is added to the price for the journey.
Down a farm road and not listed? Any DG9 address is covered, and so are Glenluce and Dunragit. Type the postcode into the form and we will agree a date for the free design visit.
