From start to finish very professional, fantastic job looks great.

Ultimate Home Solutions supplies and fits new roofs across Falkirk, and every job begins with a free survey at your own address. The town's housing is a real mix. Slate sits over the Victorian villas of Arnothill and Woodlands and the older flats near Grahamston, concrete tile covers much of Camelon, Bainsford, Langlees and Hallglen, and plenty of back extensions and garages still carry a tired felt flat roof. The wind comes across the carse from the Forth, so fixings and membranes matter as much as the covering itself. A surveyor looks at the timbers from the loft, checks the outside from ridge to gutter, and then explains what the roof needs.

The survey happens at your house, you are shown photographs of every fault, the quote is clear and free, and vetted roofers close the roof up before they go home each night. That holds for a bungalow in Polmont as much as a villa in Arnothill, and all workmanship is guaranteed.
Improving Scottish homes since 2013.
Skilled installers. Premium materials. All workmanship guaranteed.
A clear quote, in your hands before work begins.
From design to installation, one point of contact.
A surveyor looks at the roof inside and out, from the loft timbers to the chimney flashings, photographs what they find and tells you honestly whether it needs a repair or a re-roof.
A clear, no-obligation quote that sets out the covering, the membrane and the scaffolding. Yours to keep, with nobody chasing you.
Scaffolding goes up, the old covering comes off, and new membrane, battens and slates or tiles go on. The roof is sealed at the end of every day, so the house stays dry while we work.
We go over the finished roof with you, hand over the installation certificate and care notes, and ring you four weeks on. All workmanship is guaranteed.

The surveyor brings the samples, goes up into the loft, walks round the outside and talks it all through in a single call at your Falkirk home.
01Sample slates and tiles to hold up to your own stonework, brick or roughcast, so colour and texture are chosen against the real house.
02The surveyor looks over the rafters, sarking, felt and insulation from inside, then the ridge, valleys, flashings and gutters from outside, and photographs each problem.
03If a repair will do the job you are told so. If the roof is at the end of its life, you hear why and which covering would suit.
04The visit is free and so is the quote, and you take as long as you need over it. Various deposit options are available.

Plain answers on cost, timescales, conservation areas, four-in-a-block roofs, flat roofs, insulation and which FK postcodes we survey.
Phone and you will speak to a person who knows roofing, whichever day you ring. If every line is busy, expect a call back inside the hour.
Call 0800 029 3875Yes, and there is no charge for it. Surveyors call at homes all over the town, from Camelon and Tamfourhill to Laurieston, Polmont and Brightons, with no travel charge and no call-out fee. Once you have the quote, whether to go ahead is entirely up to you.
Most full re-roofs cost between £7,500 and £18,000, fitted. Scaffolding, the strip, new membrane and battens, the slates or tiles, ridge work and certification are all in that figure. As a guide by material, concrete tile runs from £7,500 to £14,000, clay pantile from £10,000 to £20,000, natural slate from £12,000 to £25,000 and beyond, and a flat roof from £3,000 to £8,000. The survey is free, and so is the clear quote that comes after it.
Weather permitting, the roofers need up to 14 working days for a new roof. Between agreeing the job and the handover, expect 3 to 5 weeks overall, as the materials need ordering and the scaffold has to go up before the old covering comes off. The roof is sealed at the close of each day, so the house is never left open to the rain.
There can be. Arnothill and Dollar Park is a conservation area, as is the town centre, and some buildings are listed. In those cases Falkirk Council will normally expect natural slate to go back where slate comes off. We supply Scottish, Welsh and Spanish slate, and the surveyor raises the question at the visit so that you can check with the council before ordering.
In most four-in-a-block flats and older tenement buildings, the roof is shared between all the owners, upstairs and down, and the cost is divided according to the title deeds. We survey the whole roof, prepare a single clear quote that the owners can split, and deal with one named contact so that everybody hears the same thing.
Quite possibly. A few slipped slates after a gale, a lifted lead flashing or a loose ridge tile are repair jobs, and we will quote for the repair when it will last. When slates are slipping across the whole roof, light is showing through in the loft or the ridge line has dipped, what lies underneath has failed and a re-roof becomes the better value.
Concrete tile, more often than not. It offers the best value for a full re-roof, and the Marley, Redland and Sandtoft ranges come in a wide choice of profiles and colours, so the new roof sits comfortably in the street. A home that was built with slate or clay pantile can be re-covered in the same material.
Yes. The old felt is stripped, any rotten boards are renewed, and a GRP fibreglass or EPDM rubber system is laid as a fully sealed surface. Dormers and porches are done the same way. If the main roof is being replaced too, it makes sense to do both while the scaffold is standing.
It usually is. With the covering off, insulation work costs a fraction of what it would as a separate job later. Many Scottish lofts still hold only 100mm of insulation where current regulations specify 270mm. We can top the loft up to the full depth, or insulate between and under the rafters if you have a room in the roof, and it all goes into one quote.
