Ultimate Home Solutions supplies and fits new roofs across Paisley, from the villas of Castlehead and Thornly Park to the terraces of Glenburn, Foxbar and Gallowhill. The town has slate over its red and blonde sandstone closes, concrete tile on the post-war estates and a good many tired felt roofs over dormers and back extensions. A surveyor inspects yours from inside the loft and from outside, then recommends the covering that suits the house. Our Glasgow showroom at Braehead is only along the road in Renfrew if you would rather talk it over in person first.

Call and a person who understands roofing picks up, seven days a week. If we miss you, we normally ring back inside the hour.
Call 0800 029 3875A full re-roof usually falls between £7,500 and £18,000 fitted. That figure takes in the scaffolding, stripping the old covering, new membrane and battens, the slates or tiles, the ridge and the certificate. Concrete tile on a semi or a terrace in Glenburn or Gallowhill sits at £7,500 to £14,000, natural slate at £12,000 to £25,000 and upwards, clay pantile at £10,000 to £20,000 and a flat roof at £3,000 to £8,000. Your own figure comes after a free survey, in a clear quote with no obligation.
A new roof takes up to 14 working days on site, weather permitting. Allow 3 to 5 weeks in all between saying yes and the handover, because the materials have to be ordered and the scaffold put up first. Each evening the roofers seal whatever they have opened, so a wet night in Paisley does not reach your ceilings.
Yes. On most Paisley tenements, whether around the town centre, Seedhill or the West End, the roof belongs to every flat in the close and the cost is split between the owners. Your title deeds or your factor will confirm the shares. We survey the whole roof, send one clear quote that can be divided up, and work with whoever the owners choose to speak for them.
Paisley has several, among them the town centre and Oakshaw, Castlehead and Thornly Park. Renfrewshire Council will usually want a slate roof replaced in natural slate that matches its neighbours, and a listed building needs more care still. We supply Scottish, Welsh and Spanish slate, sorted for colour and size, and the surveyor tells you at the survey whether consent is likely to be needed before we start.
Roofing is not on display there. The showroom inside Dobbies at Braehead is set out with kitchens and bathrooms, so for a roof the samples come to you: the surveyor brings slate and tile samples to your home, where you can hold them against your own stonework or render. You are welcome to call in at Braehead, 10am to 5pm any day, to ask about finance or to book the survey face to face.
Yes, and you see the evidence. Slipped slates after a storm, a cracked flashing at the chimney or a short run of failed ridge tiles can often be repaired, and we quote for the repair when that is the sensible fix. A re-roof is the better money once the felt has perished, the battens have gone soft or you have paid for the same leak several times over.
Concrete tile in most cases. It gives the most roof for the budget, and the Marley, Redland and Sandtoft ranges come in enough profiles and colours to sit well beside the houses either side of you in Foxbar, Glenburn or Ferguslie Park. If the house was built with clay pantile we can match that too.
We can. Dormers, extensions, porches and garages are stripped back to the deck, any rotten timber is replaced, and a GRP fibreglass or EPDM rubber roof goes on with a proper fall to the gutter. Most flat roofs are finished in 1 to 3 days, weather permitting, and it costs less to do while a scaffold is already up for the main roof.
