“Good job.”

Ultimate Home Solutions supplies and fits new house alarms, CCTV and smart locks across Bearsden and Milngavie, starting with a free survey at the house itself. Much of G61 is detached property on generous plots, set back from the road behind mature hedging and trees, with a driveway, side access and a garage or garden room at the back. That privacy cuts both ways, because what is screened from the street is screened from the neighbours too, so camera positions and outdoor detection carry more weight here than they would on an open terrace. The alarm is a wireless Pyronix Enforcer, and the whole system answers to your phone.
A Bearsden or Milngavie house rarely needs all of this at once. A flat near the Cross or in Milngavie town centre may be well covered by the alarm and a video doorbell, while a detached house at Kilmardinny or Dougalston with a long drive, a side gate and a garage usually wants cameras at the approach and detection at the back. Below is what each part is actually for.
[ Intruder alarms ]Built on the PSI award-winning Pyronix Enforcer V11, with door, window and motion sensors that are pet-friendly to avoid false triggers. Choose bells-only, or upgrade to 24/7 professional monitoring so a response is triggered even when you're away.
[ HD CCTV ]Sharp day-and-night cameras with motion recording you can view live from your phone, anywhere. Footage is stored locally or in the cloud, ready if you ever need it.
[ Video doorbells ]See and speak to whoever's at the door from your phone, whether you're upstairs or out of the country. A simple upgrade that catches deliveries and deters chancers.
[ Monitored response ]For full peace of mind, link your system to a 24/7 alarm receiving centre. If it's triggered, keyholders or a response service are alerted straight away, day or night.

What G61 homeowners ask before going ahead: cost, long drives and outbuildings, cameras and privacy, pets, smart locks, the showroom and monthly payments.
Phone in and a member of the security team answers directly, with no menu of options first. Most enquiries get a reply inside the hour, any day of the week.
Call 0800 029 3875Both, and the villages beyond them. Engineers are out in Bearsden Cross, Hillfoot, Westerton, Kessington, Killermont, Mosshead, Baljaffray and Kilmardinny, and across Milngavie at Clober, Craigdhu, Barloch and Dougalston. Baldernock, Torrance, Bardowie and Mugdock are on the round as well. The survey is free and there is no call-out fee.
More rooms and more ground floor windows mean more sensors, and a detached house with a garage or a garden room usually wants four to six cameras rather than two. Monitoring, a video doorbell or a smart lock add to it again. You get a clear quote after the survey, with no obligation to take it. Various deposit options are available.
At the points where somebody has to pass, and at a height and angle that identifies a face rather than the top of a head. The Hikvision cameras we fit hold full colour after dark, which is what makes a clothing or vehicle description worth anything. Systems run from 2 up to 16 cameras, so a long approach, the door and the rear can all be taken in.
Yes. Cameras are hard-wired for power and data, so extra cable runs out to an outbuilding are planned at the survey and allowed for in the quote. On the alarm side, the wireless external sensor covers 12m across a 90 degree spread and is pet immune up to 24kg, which suits a back garden or a side gate well.
No, and that is deliberate. Privacy masking blanks out neighbouring property and the pavement, so those areas are never recorded and the system stays the right side of data protection. The engineer shows you the intended coverage before anything is fitted.
Not at all. Indoor movement sensors are pet-friendly so ordinary household traffic does not trigger them, and the outdoor sensor ignores animals up to 24kg. Tell the engineer where the dog goes and the sensors are sited to match.
We can. Video doorbells from Ring, Google Nest and Arlo, and smart locks including the Yale Conexis and Nuki, all go in alongside the alarm and can be linked to Hive, Nest, Apple HomeKit or Amazon Alexa. A smart lock will issue a time-limited code for a cleaner or a dog walker, and it still works on Bluetooth and a physical key if the WiFi drops.
One to two working days on site for most homes, with a larger property and a full camera run taking the longer end of that. Ahead of it, allow roughly 2 to 4 weeks from approving the design while the equipment is ordered and a date is set. The app is configured with you before we finish.
Yes. We offer Buy Now Pay 12 Months Later, flexible credit up to 24 months, and longer-term flexible credit up to 10 years. The initial eligibility check is a soft search with no impact on your credit score, and gives an instant decision. Ultimate Home Solutions is authorised by the FCA as a credit broker (not a lender).
Our Glasgow showroom is inside Dobbies Garden Centre, 75 Kings Inch Drive, Renfrew, G51 4FB, and the Kilmarnock showroom is at Block 5, Unit 1, Glencairn Industrial Estate, KA1 4AZ. Braehead is open 10am to 5pm, Monday to Sunday and Kilmarnock Monday to Saturday, Sunday by appointment, with free parking. Security is one of those things best looked at in your own house, though, because the engineer needs to see the drive, the gates and the ways round the back.
