Ultimate Home Solutions supplies and fits new house alarms and CCTV in every part of Cumbernauld, from the first new town streets to the newest estates north of the motorway. Much of the town was laid out to keep people and cars apart, which is why so many houses in Kildrum, Seafar and Carbrain have a front door on a footpath, a back gate on a green and a garage sitting in a block some distance away. Abronhill and Condorrat add long rear paths between the terraces, while Westfield, Craigmarloch and Carrickstone are mostly open driveways and side gates. Those are different problems, so an engineer studies your own house before a single sensor is suggested. The panel is a wireless Pyronix Enforcer V11, so nothing is chased into the walls, and you arm it, disarm it and check on it from your phone.
Not every Cumbernauld household needs the same list. Where the house sits, how many ways in it has, and whether the garage is attached or round in a court, all change the answer. Read through what each part of the system actually does, then settle the detail with the engineer while he is standing in the house.
[ Intruder alarms ]Built on the PSI award-winning Pyronix Enforcer V11, with door, window and motion sensors that are pet-friendly to avoid false triggers. Choose bells-only, or upgrade to 24/7 professional monitoring so a response is triggered even when you're away.
[ HD CCTV ]Sharp day-and-night cameras with motion recording you can view live from your phone, anywhere. Footage is stored locally or in the cloud, ready if you ever need it.
[ Video doorbells ]See and speak to whoever's at the door from your phone, whether you're upstairs or out of the country. A simple upgrade that catches deliveries and deters chancers.
[ Monitored response ]For full peace of mind, link your system to a 24/7 alarm receiving centre. If it's triggered, keyholders or a response service are alerted straight away, day or night.

What G67 and G68 households want cleared up first: doors on footpaths, garage courts, pets, cameras and privacy, monitoring, storage and paying by the month.
Ring us and a member of the security team picks up, not a recorded list of options. Most calls are returned within the hour, weekends too.
Call 0800 029 3875It comes down to how big the house is, how many doors and windows want a sensor, and whether cameras, a video doorbell or 24/7 monitoring go in alongside the alarm. A two-bedroom flat at Kildrum takes a fraction of the kit a five-bedroom house at Westerwood needs. The survey costs nothing, there is no call-out fee in G67 or G68, and the quote that follows is free and carries no obligation. Various deposit options are available.
It usually does. Where a front door opens onto a footpath rather than a road, callers reach it without passing a single car window, so a video doorbell earns its place: you see and speak to whoever is there from your phone. A garage away from the house is worth covering too, either with a camera or with the wireless external sensor, which picks up movement across 12 metres and a 90 degree spread. The engineer will look at both approaches while he is with you.
Very little of either. The Enforcer system is wireless end to end, so the panel, the keypad, the door and window sensors and the outside siren need no cabling between them. Door sensors use an encrypted protocol and pair with one push. Cameras are the exception, because they are hard-wired for power and data, and the engineer plans those runs with you so they stay out of sight.
They are made for it. Indoor movement detectors have pet immunity built in to stop needless triggers, and the external sensor ignores animals up to 24kg. Say what pets you have when the engineer visits, because siting and sensitivity are both set with them in mind.
Allow roughly 2 to 4 weeks from signing off the design, which covers ordering the panel, sensors and any cameras and getting a fitting date booked. On site, most homes here are finished in a single working day, and an alarm with cameras in 1 to 2. The engineer tests everything and sets up the app before packing away.
Bells-only means the outside siren sounds and an alert lands on your phone, which is plenty on a street where somebody will hear it. If the house is empty through the working day, or you are away often, the system can be linked to an alarm receiving centre staffed around the clock, so keyholders or a response service are told the moment it goes off. Both sit in the quote and neither is pushed at you.
Yes. Cameras are angled to take in your own ground, and privacy masking blanks out any part of a neighbouring garden or the public path that would otherwise be in shot. If you would rather not have a camera on the back at all, an external sensor on that side will trigger the alarm before anyone reaches the door.

Our Glasgow showroom is inside Dobbies Garden Centre at Braehead, 75 Kings Inch Drive, Renfrew, G51 4FB, open 10am to 5pm every day. Kilmarnock keeps the same hours. With an alarm, though, the visit that tells us anything is the one to your own house, where the doors, windows and approaches can be seen.
All of G67 and G68: Kildrum, Seafar, Carbrain, Abronhill, Condorrat, Greenfaulds, Ravenswood, Cumbernauld Village, Eastfield, Balloch, Westfield, Craigmarloch, Carrickstone, Westerwood, Dullatur, Blackwood, Smithstone and Park. Kilsyth, Croy, Moodiesburn, Banknock and Castlecary are covered as well, and the survey is free at every one of them.
There are two things covering you. The hardware carries its manufacturer warranty, and all workmanship is guaranteed, which takes in how the system was fitted, connected and programmed. Ring us if anything behaves oddly and we will come back to it.
Engineers survey and fit right across the town most weeks, on both sides of the motorway. The visit costs nothing and there is no call-out fee, in G67 around Kildrum, Seafar and Abronhill as much as in G68 at Balloch, Westfield and Craigmarloch.
District missing from the list? Alarms go in at any G67 or G68 address, and in the villages just outside the town. Put your postcode on the form and we will get a free security survey booked in.
