Fulfilled the timescales. Excellent workmanship. Competitive prices. Excellent customer service.

Ultimate Home Solutions supplies and fits new house alarms, cameras and video doorbells across Greenock, Gourock and Port Glasgow. The town climbs from the waterfront at Cartsdyke and Battery Park up to Braeside, Whinhill and Branchton, so one address is a close entry two flights up and the next is a semi with steps at the front, a lane at the back and a drying green behind it. Weather off the Clyde matters as well, because an outdoor camera and an external siren have to be sited and sealed so that months of driving rain never become an issue. An engineer comes out, walks the ground with you and says what the property actually calls for. The panel is a wireless Pyronix Enforcer V11, which keeps the fitting clean in old plaster, and everything answers to one app.
Inverclyde homes ask for different things. A close flat in the town centre is often well covered by the alarm and a doorbell answered on the phone. A house on one of the hill streets, with steps at the front and a lane at the back, usually wants an outdoor sensor and a camera on the rear boundary. A villa out towards Ashton or Inverkip, with a drive and a garage, generally takes wider camera coverage again. The list below sets out what each part is for.
[ Intruder alarms ]Built on the PSI award-winning Pyronix Enforcer V11, with door, window and motion sensors that are pet-friendly to avoid false triggers. Choose bells-only, or upgrade to 24/7 professional monitoring so a response is triggered even when you're away.
[ HD CCTV ]Sharp day-and-night cameras with motion recording you can view live from your phone, anywhere. Footage is stored locally or in the cloud, ready if you ever need it.
[ Video doorbells ]See and speak to whoever's at the door from your phone, whether you're upstairs or out of the country. A simple upgrade that catches deliveries and deters chancers.
[ Monitored response ]For full peace of mind, link your system to a 24/7 alarm receiving centre. If it's triggered, keyholders or a response service are alerted straight away, day or night.
Fulfilled the timescales. Excellent workmanship. Competitive prices. Excellent customer service.
I loved the experience. The finished product was far beyond my expectations and the workload was quickly carried out and completed. The workers when they arrived were polite and maintained high quality standards. Further, they ensured the mess they made was cleaned up at the end of each day. Overall, I would highly recommend this service to others as the business is very professional.
Absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish. The qualities of the product were explained and demonstrated and we went ahead. We were delighted with the end product and the lads who done the job were friendly professional and approachable. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone and will do so if asked.

The things PA15 and PA16 households raise: tenement closes, steep back lanes, wet weather, pets, cameras and neighbours, monitoring, storage and monthly payments.

Call 0800 029 3875Yes to both. We install across the whole of Scotland with no postcode left out, so an engineer will come to any address in Greenock, Gourock or Port Glasgow, and out to Inverkip, Wemyss Bay, Kilmacolm and Langbank. There is no call-out fee and nothing charged for the trip. The quote afterwards is free as well, and going ahead is entirely your decision.
The size of the property, the number of doors and windows that want a sensor, whether there is a garage, a shed or an outside stair to take in, and what you add on top, such as CCTV, a video doorbell or 24/7 monitoring. A one-bedroom flat at Cartsdyke is a smaller job than a West End villa with a garden room. Everything is priced after the survey, in a quote that is clear, free and carries no obligation. Various deposit options are available.
It can, and a wireless system is the reason. Sensors go on your own front door and the windows inside your flat, the panel sits in your hall, and none of it needs channelling into the close walls or the stairwell. Anything on shared ground, a camera in the close for instance, should be squared with the other owners and the factor before we fit it.
They are built for outdoor mounting, and where the position allows the engineer will tuck a camera under an overhang or a soffit rather than leaving it fully exposed. Fixings are sealed and the cable entry is made good. On the alarm side, the external siren is designed to sit on a gable and stay visible, which is half of what it is there for.
That is routine. The camera is angled to take in your boundary, and privacy masking blanks out any neighbouring ground or public pavement that would otherwise appear in the picture. For the lane itself the wireless external sensor gives 12 metres of detection across a 90 degree sweep, so the alarm can sound before anyone is at the back door.
It should not. The indoor detectors have pet immunity, which exists precisely to stop that, and the outside sensor is pet immune up to 24kg. Mention the animals at the survey so the engineer can choose heights and settings that suit them.
Most alarms go in inside one working day, and an alarm with cameras in 1 to 2. Before any of that, allow around 2 to 4 weeks from approving the design while the equipment is ordered and a date comes round. Nothing is left half finished: the system is tested and the app is live on your phone before the van goes.
It depends how the house is used. A bells-only alarm sounds the siren and alerts your phone, and on a busy street somebody will hear it. If the property is empty for long stretches, linking it to an alarm receiving centre staffed 24 hours means keyholders or a response service are contacted straight away. We put the cost of each in the quote and leave the choice with you.
