Ultimate Home Solutions supplies and fits new house alarms and CCTV across Perth, and every system starts with a free survey at your home and a clear quote. A stone villa on the Kinnoull side of the Tay, a city centre flat off the High Street, a bungalow in Craigie or Letham and a new-build at Bertha Park are protected in different ways, so an engineer comes out to look before anything is recommended. The alarm is a wireless Pyronix Enforcer, which means no cables pulled through thick stone walls, and you control it from your phone wherever you happen to be.
Perth homes ask different things of a security system. A flat near the South Inch may want no more than an alarm and a video doorbell, a family house in Oakbank or Scone often adds two or three cameras, and a farmhouse or steading out towards Methven or Stanley usually needs outdoor sensors and wider camera coverage. Below is a plain guide to what each part does, to help you decide with the engineer.
[ Intruder alarms ]Built on the PSI award-winning Pyronix Enforcer V11, with door, window and motion sensors that are pet-friendly to avoid false triggers. Choose bells-only, or upgrade to 24/7 professional monitoring so a response is triggered even when you're away.
[ HD CCTV ]Sharp day-and-night cameras with motion recording you can view live from your phone, anywhere. Footage is stored locally or in the cloud, ready if you ever need it.
[ Video doorbells ]See and speak to whoever's at the door from your phone, whether you're upstairs or out of the country. A simple upgrade that catches deliveries and deters chancers.
[ Monitored response ]For full peace of mind, link your system to a 24/7 alarm receiving centre. If it's triggered, keyholders or a response service are alerted straight away, day or night.

What people in PH1 and PH2 ask us before going ahead, from travel charges and stone walls to pets, rural properties, footage storage and monthly payments.
Pick up the phone and an adviser who understands alarms will answer, not an automated menu. We ring most people back within the hour, weekends included.
Call 0800 029 3875We do, and there is none. We install across the whole of Scotland, with free home surveys, no call-out fee and no postcode exclusions. An engineer will come to any address in the city, from Letham and Tulloch to Kinnoull and Barnhill, or out to Scone, Bridge of Earn and Luncarty. The quote is free as well, and whether you go ahead is up to you.
It depends on how big the home is, how many doors and windows want a sensor, and what you add, such as CCTV, a video doorbell or 24/7 monitoring. A one-bedroom flat in the city centre takes far less kit than a detached villa with outbuildings. Once the engineer has surveyed the house you get a clear quote with no obligation. Various deposit options are available.
Not for the alarm, because the Pyronix Enforcer system is fully wireless. The panel, keypad, door sensors, movement sensors and outside siren need no cable runs between them, so nobody has to drill through thick stone to link one room to the next. CCTV cameras are hard-wired for power and data, and the engineer plans those cable routes with you so they stay out of sight.
Most alarms go in within one working day, and a full alarm and CCTV system within 1 to 2 days. Before that, allow roughly 2 to 4 weeks from signing off the design for the equipment to arrive and the fitting date to come round. Nothing is left half done: the system is tested and the app is working on your phone before the engineer heads off.
Very unlikely. Indoor movement sensors are pet-friendly to prevent false triggers, and the outdoor sensor ignores animals up to 24kg. Tell the engineer what pets you have so the sensors can be sited and adjusted to suit.
Yes. Camera systems run from 2 up to 16 cameras, and larger rural properties, farms and homes with outbuildings commonly need between 8 and 16. The engineer walks the ground with you and recommends positions for the steading, the sheds and the road end. Extra cable runs to outbuildings are allowed for in your quote, and outdoor sensors can be added to the alarm.
It is worth considering. A bells-only alarm sounds the siren and sends an alert to your phone. A monitored alarm is also linked to an alarm receiving centre staffed 24 hours a day, which contacts your keyholders or a response service if the system triggers. We set out both options at the survey, with the cost of each shown plainly in the quote.
Not for the basics. Footage records to a Network Video Recorder inside your home, with no monthly charge for local storage, and the phone app is free to use. Cloud backup is optional and carries a small monthly cost if you choose it.
Yes. We offer Buy Now Pay 12 Months Later, flexible credit up to 24 months, and longer-term flexible credit up to 10 years. The initial eligibility check is a soft search with no impact on your credit score, and gives an instant decision. Ultimate Home Solutions is authorised by the FCA as a credit broker (not a lender).
