Ultimate Home Solutions designs, supplies and fits new house alarms, CCTV and video doorbells across Renfrew, and our Glasgow showroom is in the town itself, inside Dobbies Garden Centre on Kings Inch Drive at Braehead. Walk in any day of the week and talk to somebody, or have an engineer come to the house instead. Renfrew is a mix: interwar and postwar terraces with rear closes and drying greens at Moorpark and Porterfield, semis and bungalows at Kirklandneuk and Arkleston, and newer riverside flats at Ferry Village. Each wants a different layout of sensors and cameras, which is why the survey comes first.
Renfrew properties pull in different directions. Somebody in a riverside flat at Ferry Village often wants nothing more than the alarm and a doorbell they can answer from work, whereas a family at Arkleston with a driveway, a garage and a gate on to a back lane usually ends up with cameras and an outdoor detector as well. The list below explains each piece so you can say yes or no to it.
[ Intruder alarms ]Built on the PSI award-winning Pyronix Enforcer V11, with door, window and motion sensors that are pet-friendly to avoid false triggers. Choose bells-only, or upgrade to 24/7 professional monitoring so a response is triggered even when you're away.
[ HD CCTV ]Sharp day-and-night cameras with motion recording you can view live from your phone, anywhere. Footage is stored locally or in the cloud, ready if you ever need it.
[ Video doorbells ]See and speak to whoever's at the door from your phone, whether you're upstairs or out of the country. A simple upgrade that catches deliveries and deters chancers.
[ Monitored response ]For full peace of mind, link your system to a 24/7 alarm receiving centre. If it's triggered, keyholders or a response service are alerted straight away, day or night.

What people in PA4 ask before going ahead: the showroom, cost, back lanes and drying greens, riverside flats, cameras and neighbours, pets, monitoring and monthly payments.
There is no menu to work through: the phone is answered by the security side of the business. Enquiries are normally returned the same day, weekend or not.
Call 0800 029 3875It is in Renfrew. The Glasgow showroom sits inside Dobbies Garden Centre, 75 Kings Inch Drive, Renfrew, G51 4FB at Braehead, open 10am to 5pm every day with free parking. Walk through the garden centre, out of the exit at the back and up to the top right. For an alarm, though, the visit that matters is the one to your own address.
It depends on the property. Doors and ground floor windows needing sensors, the size of the house, and whether cameras, a video doorbell or 24/7 monitoring go on top all change the figure. A one-bedroom flat takes a fraction of what a four-bedroom house with a garage does. The survey is free, there is no call-out fee in PA4 and the quote carries no obligation. Various deposit options are available.
More than you would think. Sensors go on your own doors and windows and the panel sits inside the house, so nothing is cut into shared walls. Out the back, the wireless external sensor reads 12m across a 90 degree arc and triggers the siren, which is often better on a shared green than a camera. If you do want a camera, masking blanks the parts of the green and the neighbouring windows it would otherwise take in.
The cameras are designed for outdoor mounting, and the engineer picks a line under an eave or a soffit where the elevation gives some shelter. Cable entries are sealed so the weather cannot track back inside.
Yes, twice over. Working kit comes to the house at the survey so you can arm it, unset it and watch the phone light up, and there is a showroom at Braehead if you would rather call in and ask questions in your own time.
Almost certainly not. The indoor detectors are pet-friendly, which is there to keep false alarms down, and the outdoor sensor ignores animals up to 24kg. Mention the dog at the survey so the detectors are positioned around it.
Two to four cameras will usually take in the front door, the driveway and the back garden of a semi, and a detached house is often four to six. One recorder will handle anything from 2 up to 16 cameras, so more can be added another year. At the survey the engineer stands where each one would go and explains what it would and would not see.
In your own house, on a Network Video Recorder. Depending on how many cameras feed it, that is usually between 30 and 60 days of footage before the oldest is written over. Nothing is charged monthly for recording locally or for using the app, and if you want a copy held off the premises as well, encrypted cloud backup can be added for a small monthly fee.
Yes. We offer Buy Now Pay 12 Months Later, flexible credit up to 24 months, and longer-term flexible credit up to 10 years.
