There is very little to damage. The alarm is wireless throughout, so the panel, keypad, door contacts, movement detectors and outside siren need no cabling between them, and nothing is channelled into lath, plaster or panelling. Cameras do need a power and data run, and the engineer agrees each route with you first so it follows an existing line or stays hidden.
