“Fitted within 4 weeks from ordering.”
Great experience 5* from beginning to end. I had new windows fitted & a new front door really happy with the whole process & fitted within 4 weeks from ordering. Would definitely use again.

Ultimate Home Solutions supplies and fits new double glazed windows across Kilmarnock, and our showroom is in the town itself, on Glencairn Industrial Estate. Kilmarnock's houses cover a lot of ground. There are sandstone villas along Dundonald Road and London Road with tall sashes and bays, roughcast semis and four-in-a-block flats in Shortlees, Bellfield and Onthank, and newer estates at Southcraigs and Altonhill where the first set of double glazing is now past its best. A surveyor measures each opening, you get a clear quote with no obligation, and trusted installers fit the windows in 1 to 3 working days with all workmanship guaranteed.

What Kilmarnock homeowners ask before ordering windows, from the showroom and prices to misted units, conservation areas, noise and the villages we reach.
Phone and a person who understands windows will answer, not a recorded menu. We pick up most calls within the hour, every day.
Call 0800 029 3875The showroom is at Block 5, Unit 1, Glencairn Industrial Estate, Kilmarnock, KA1 4AZ, open 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday with free parking outside, and Sundays by appointment. It is set out with kitchens and bathrooms, and it is the easiest place to talk to us in person and arrange a window survey. Our window and door displays are at the Glasgow showroom, inside Dobbies Garden Centre at Braehead, and the surveyor brings frame and glass samples to your house in any case.
That comes down to how many windows there are, which style you pick, the frame finish and the glass. Six casements on a Shortlees semi will cost a good deal less than a Dundonald Road villa with bays and tall sashes. uPVC is the best value, and timber-effect frames cost more. The survey is free and so is the quote, which is clear and carries no obligation. Various deposit options are available.
Your windows are made to measure, so reckon on about 5 to 7 weeks between signing off the order and fitting day. The fitting is the quick bit. Most Kilmarnock homes are finished in 1 to 3 working days, and we never leave a house open to the weather overnight.
Mist between the panes means the sealed unit has failed, and older double glazing also loses heat through worn seals. If the frames are sound, a repair may be all you need, and we have a window repairs service for that. Where the frames themselves are tired, new A-rated windows are the better long-term answer. The surveyor will tell you which way it falls.
Often they can, with some care. Kilmarnock has conservation areas, including the streets around John Finnie Street and Bank Street, and some buildings in the town are listed, so East Ayrshire Council may want a say on the style and the material. Ask the council's planning team before you order. Our sliding sash and flush casement windows are designed with character homes in mind, and we can give you the product details for an application.
They will. Fresh sealed units are much quieter than old glazing, and for homes beside the A77 or the A71, or near the railway line that crosses the middle of the town, acoustic glass is an option. It has thicker, laminated panes that hold back more of the sound.
There are six core colours: white, cream, black, anthracite grey, agate grey and Chartwell green, with anthracite grey the one we are asked for most. You can also have woodgrain foils, or a dual-colour frame that is one shade outside and another indoors. The surveyor brings the swatches, so you can judge them against your own walls.

Yes. We work from inside wherever the opening lets us, which keeps scaffolding to a minimum, and the rooms are covered with dust sheets while the fitters are in. In a four-in-a-block or any shared building it is worth reading your title deeds, or asking the council or housing association if they still own part of the block, before you order.
All of KA1, KA2 and KA3: the town centre, Bellfield, Shortlees, Riccarton, Bonnyton, Grange, Onthank, New Farm Loch, Beansburn, Southcraigs and Altonhill, plus Hurlford, Crosshouse, Kilmaurs, Fenwick and Stewarton. We are regularly in Galston, Newmilns, Darvel, Dundonald and Symington too. None of those places carries a call-out fee.
Each installation comes with a compliance certificate for building regulations, which is what a solicitor will want to see when the house is sold. Trickle vents are fitted wherever they are required. All workmanship is guaranteed, and that includes the way the frames, sealed units, hardware and seals are fitted.
With a showroom in the town, our surveyors and fitters are never far away. Surveys are free, with no call-out fee, across KA1, KA2 and KA3 and in the Irvine Valley villages beyond.
