As a rough guide: from £6,000 for a small galley refit, between £8,000 and £15,000 for a mid-range family kitchen, and £20,000 upwards for a large open-plan room with an island. Rip-out, plumbing, electrics and worktops are included in all three. A compact kitchen in a Hilltown or Stobswell flat will sit towards the lower end, and a large Broughty Ferry kitchen with a stone worktop towards the top. Your quote is free and clear.
Most are fitted in 10 to 14 working days. The design and planning stage comes first and takes about a fortnight, and the kitchen is then made to order over four to six weeks. Most Dundee customers are cooking in the new room eight to ten weeks after the first visit.
We can. Tenement kitchens in the West End, Stobswell and around Baxter Park tend to be narrow, with high ceilings and the odd boxed-in pipe, and a galley layout usually gets the most out of them. Everything is made to measure, tall units take advantage of the ceiling height, and integrated appliances keep the room uncluttered. Units and worktops are carried up the stair by the installers, and the close is left clean at the end of each day.
Your designer models your actual room in 3D, to the measurements taken at the visit, so you can view it from the door, from the window or from above. Doors, worktops and handles can be swapped on screen in seconds. Together with the real samples in your hand, it gives you a very accurate picture before you order.
They are German-engineered by Nobilia, Europe's largest kitchen maker, and come in shaker, handleless and modern styles. There are more than 200 styles across the ranges, so matching a colour or finish to a Dundee home is rarely difficult.
Yes. The old units, worktops and tiles come out on the first day and disposal is part of your quote. Gas Safe registered engineers handle any gas work, qualified electricians do the wiring and certificates are issued for both. Plumbing, tiling and decoration are arranged by us too, so you deal with one company throughout.
Deliveries are checked before fitting begins. If a door, panel or worktop has been damaged in transit we reorder it straight away and fit a temporary piece so the job keeps moving. Replacements typically arrive within five to seven working days.
